Virgin Atlantic is a British Airline which was founded in 1984 as British Atlantic Airways and started operating from June 22, 1984. The airline operates scheduled services to 31 destinations in North America, Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East and Asia from its bases at Gatwick Airport, London Heathrow Airport and Manchester Airport. The airline has got a permit of carrying passengers, cargo and mails on aircrafts by the Civil Aviation Authority. Virgin Atlantic is the seventh largest airline in the UK in terms of carrying a large number of passengers and has codeshare agreements with major airlines including Air China, Air New Zealand, All Nippon Airways, Delta Air Lines, etc.
